I really liked this video titled 'The Bridge' by Joris Ivens. First, I noticed how there was no music and while this made me somewhat disappointed I realized how much better I liked it by the end. I paid more attention to the shots and what was going on and filled in the music with my own narration. The angles are all really interesting because there are so many. I especially like the high angles looking down at other boats and the water. The movement of the bridge itself is so unique! I like the black and white a lot not only because it defines the time period but also because it allows me to paint in the colors just like the sound...it's a video that I'm supposed to complete just by looking at it. (That made sense to me not sure if it will makes sense to you! haha) I also like the beginning when Ivens shows his face and his camera. It's like letting us into his world and showing us who he is and what equipment he's using. Anyways great video I enjoyed it much more than some of the other weird ones I found!!!!
