Myself personally I have always been intrigued by Warhol’s work. His various methods in reconstructing color, tone and shape have always peaked my interest. His work is provocative, he pushes the film envelops.

Another provocative film, spectacle part 1, illustrates culture evolution both nationally, and over seas. I can appreciate the conflict worked into this video. “Nazi Germany, soviet Union?) The woman’s figure is expressed freely yet he drives a meaning for culture intention

Thomas Demand (b. 1964)
I appreciated this fast-paced tracking shot through the tunnel, I felt like I was introduced to a new world. Entering the tunnel, mid-way into the tunnel and exiting the tunnel to in-turn echo the experience again. I agree with some critics that say this work reflects upon the model of our relationship to images from the mass media.
