316 Video Artist Influence

I have chosen David Hutton for my video artist. We haven't talk about him, but his work is similar to mine. Looking at his piece I felt a connection with some of the play on words images used and color. David Hutton was born of European and Asian descent in 1985. His video is based on “Portraying a manipulative instrument in communist controlled China in which they exercise within several Transformation Centers, Legal System Education Centers and Legal System Education Schools right through the kingdom as a way to stabilize transgression.” I think it is pretty sweet the whole kaleidoscope view he has going on.

I don't know to many artist and wish I had a more broad prospective of artists. I fee like he loops this video mid way threw due to the repetitive nature of the audio. A lot of clips are repeated probably due to his angry or obsession of hate and frustration. I believe a other pieces of art I have a hard time convey this anger due to pop culture influences of music. With this piece he uses very few select audio clips that carry his piece along. The two asymmetric images make me feel like the red kaleidoscope type eyes are the gaze and the color is the emotional response.
